We had to deal with their subcontractor in France Bailly: volume underestimated at the start by 5 m3, which required one day more than expected because the truck was too small.
Fortunately KAE did not charge us this supplement.
Then packaging done by [Name removed by Sirelo]: very approximate identification of the boxes (dismantled parts scattered and not found, identification illegible or incomprehensible on arrival, labels peeled off).
However, no damage on arrival, and very nice team leader.
Then 8 months of storage in Athens at KAE: no particular problem, competitive price.
Last phase from Athens to Chania (Crete): a criticism of the poor organization for the payment of the supplements that KAE asked us on the day of delivery, while all the details concerning the house were provided ten days before (the supplements were justified of course).
On the other hand, we were disappointed that no reassembly of furniture has been proposed on arrival.
Note that payments are made on an

As far as we are aware, the move went very well. I would like to point out to some of the remarks you have made because it will be fair to let people know the facts and what services you agreed to:
Regarding your comment "a criticism of the poor organization for the payment of the supplements that KAE asked us on the day of delivery, while all the details concerning the house were provided ten days before (the supplements were justified of course)"
KAE Response: Unfortunately the remark above is not entirely true. We were NEVER provided information that your house was on 3 different floor levels prior to delivery. We only found that out when the crew arrived at your house. This of course was your responsibility to let us know prior to delivering the goods so that we are ready and prepared for the delivery. Our written quotation was based on ground floor level and most probably you had forgotten to inform us after you had read this important part of the quote.

Regarding your comment: "On the other hand, we were disappointed that no reassembly of furniture has been proposed on arrival."
KAE Response: Unless there was a major communication problem that we are not aware of, you are the one that instructed the crew what to unpack and assemble. We have provided you unpacking services, however you chose not to unpack everything and instructed the crew of same.

Regarding your comment: Note that payments are made on an IBAN of the Czech Republic, which caused me a problem with my bank.
KAE Response: To be clear, we are an international moving company. As an EU based company, we are provided with several choices where we can open bank accounts legally. We are paid by many customers from all around the world (even outside the EU), with no problems at all. It is not our concern or any of our business if you have a problem with YOUR bank, since this is a problem that you need to solve, and not ours. We conduct business and expect to be paid to an account that we provide you and as a customer it is up to you to find whatever solution you need with your own bank so that the services are fully paid for. EU bank transfers are the most common transfers for business and private matters, so we would encourage you to look at the problems that your own bank created.

Lastly, we want to note that on our Destination Performance Report which you filled out and signed, all of the services were noted by you as "EXCELLENT."
Hoping that our responses clears up the matter concerning your remarks and hopefully we will be able to provide you in the future (if required) the same quality services which we provided you with this move.
Wishing you a great day and enjoy Crete!Read more
